I was honoured to be in Hutton on Armistice Day and lay a wreath on behalf of my constituents. We will never forget the service and sacrifice of those who defended our nation and protected our freedoms. It was super to see the local community of all ages taking part in this event - remembering the sacrifices of those who serve, past and present. However we take part this year we will be showing the Armed Forces community that we care.
I also enjoyed meeting lots of Leyland shoppers while helping out with Poppy sales in Tesco at lunchtime - along with Peter Platt our Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Organiser for Leyland and Leyland Community Champion Jean Bolton and her team. A huge well done to all.
