I recently visited Leyland Job Centre and spoke with Heather, the relationship manager, who has received an OBE for the great work that she does within her role at the Job Centre and for the whole Lancashire area when people are looking for work.
Heather, and the soon to be relationship manager Helen, provided me with some great achievements from Leyland Job Centre which included the Kickstart Scheme which gave 101 young people new opportunities and helped over 150,00 young people find work.
What was also mentioned is that there are currently 47,000 jobs available across Lancashire!
