In the UK, we send 336,000 tonnes of clothing to landfill a year. This is why I'm taking part in #SecondHandSeptember
Extending the life of our clothes is vital to reduce the carbon footprint so please consider donating your unwanted clothes and other items to our local charity shops.
My third stop for Second Hand September was The Children's Society Charity shop in Leyland. They kindly accepted some of my clothes so that somebody else can enjoy them without having to buy fast fashion and reducing our carbon emissions at the same time.
Our planet will thank us!
