I am back in Parliament today after a great summer out and about, getting to spend time with business owners, local police, health workers and most importantly local residents.
Whether it was going out on patrol seeing how Lancashire Police are dealing with antisocial behaviour, welcoming Lord Markham to look at designs for our new hospital or sitting down with you and hearing the issues that matter in your community, there is nothing better than spending time in the place I live and am proud to represent.
Now that Parliament has returned I'm bringing what you have told me down south to Westminster where I'll make sure you have a strong voice, speaking for South Ribble in the House of Commons. Thank you to everyone I've met over recent weeks and I look forward to talking to more of you as the year goes on.
