It was really fantastic to get out and about with the Ribble Rivers Trust last week (and doing an impromptu litter pick!)
Ribble Rivers Trust are a local environment charity who have grown hugely over the last few years, dedicated to protecting and improving our rivers and streams through a variety of different tasks like tree planting, river clean ups and wildlife surveys - and ahead of #InternationalBiodiversityDay tomorrow, it’s a great time to think about preserving the environment on our doorstep.
It was fascinating to hear about all the work they do, but they also work closely with our fantastic farming community here in South Ribble.
