This summer, I got to share my personal fossil collection with local children at the School's Out at St Teresa's Holiday Club in Penwortham
I took part in their science week, during which we built volcanoes, made them explode and then explored some of my fossils. As a scientist, it's great to be able to engage the next generation of scientists and I was excited to see the kids so interested in the history of our plane.
I enjoyed talking about the fossils I've managed to collect over the decades so much, I might make a tour out of it!
