Great meeting with Rufford Parish Councillors and concerned residents at Holmeswood Village Hall. Thanks to the Parish Clerk and Cllr John Gordon for arranging it 
It was good to sit down and listen to the detailed experiences of communities dealing with issues such as speeding. The conversation was both interesting and informative and there's lots to be done - the meeting gave multiple ideas on where to start and I look forward to working on these with our local communities.
I want to encourage all South Ribble residents to flag up local problems, such as speeding, by reporting it to "Lancashire Talking" - an initiative by Lancashire Police to enable residents to share what matters to them and raise any concerns - these will then be forwarded to our Neighbourhood Policing Teams who will act on them.
