It was fantastic to meet and chat with cadets, volunteers and Comdt Colonel Gareth Wright on a visit to the Leyland Detachment of the Lancashire Army Cadet Force.
The cadets welcomed me into a detachment training session, and I was briefed on the great work the Lancashire Army Cadet Force is doing to create opportunities for young people and promote lifelong success for their cadets. We later discussed issues ranging from Brexit through to the Thick of It.
