Fantastic to have the chance to sit down with Chris Abbott, our local chief inspector here in South Ribble to discuss some important local issues.
Crime and public safety is at the top of the agenda for so many of you across South Ribble, so having the chance to sit down with the Chief Inspector, talk to him about the issues that have been raised with me, and hear about the work they’re doing was brilliant.
We worked hard to re-open Leyland Police Station and give us a proper response team here in South Ribble. After delivering that, there’s still more work to be done, but I am incredibly grateful to Chris and everyone at Lancashire Constabulary for their hard work and I’m confident that we’re on track to make South Ribble the safest place to live.
