I went to visit a fantastic charity who help combat loneliness yesterday.
Talkin' Tables operate around the UK with lots of locations locally. Anyone is invited, you can just turn up, sit down at one of the designated tables and have a chat. I did just that at the Penwortham based group yesterday and had some great conversations. One of the things I was asked about was my campaign to reopen Midge Hall. Everyone seemed keen to know more.
As well as the Penwortham group I went to, there are also Talkin’ Tables in Leyland, Longton, Much Hoole, and others not far from South Ribble.
