I recently visited the site of Recycling Lives new training academy in Leyland. The Terry Jackson Academy will be used to induct new employees and upskill existing staff. Jobs will also be created for ex-offenders to help support their rehabilitation. This will do much to cut crime and prevent re-offending.
The team at Recycling Lives are not only working hard to recycle our scrap to protect our green spaces and keep our environment safe but they are also carrying out a large amount of charity work. They are supporting individuals facing homelessness and providing food to schools and charities to tackle poverty.
