I had the honour of attending the official opening of a Covid-19 commemoration project, the beautiful "Garden of Reflection" in West Lancashire, along with fellow Lancashire MP Rosie Cooper.
Children from all across West Lancashire, including Tarleton, Mere Brow, Banks and Rufford, wrote messages and drew pictures of what the past 18 months have meant for them - these were then placed into a time capsule and buried at the site when the garden was being constructed.
It's right that we have such a beautiful place to come to remember those we have lost and give our quiet thanks to the NHS, key workers and the community volunteers who have helped the rest of us through it.
