Postal vote issues for South Ribble residents
I understand it’s possible thousands of South Ribble residents are yet to receive their postal votes.
I’ve been made aware of ongoing issues with local elections this Thursday, as South Ribble Borough Council (SRBC) have found that delivery of postal ballots to thousands of residents may not have happened.
What to do -
If you have not received your postal ballot you have two options:
Call SRBC on 01772 625625 and ask for Council staff to deliver a postal ballot to your registered address (if you cannot do option 2).
Collect your ballot from the Civic Centre in Leyland and hand it in there or at your local polling station.
If you were expecting a postal vote and have not received one please do take up one of the options above to secure your voice in our local democracy. Whoever you choose to support, you must have a vote and a voice.
All the best,
Katherine, your Member of Parliament for South Ribble
P.S. Do you know a postal voter not on social media, if you’ve time perhaps you could check if they have had their ballot too?
