Some fantastic news for Leyland this week! Seven Stars Primary School has secured government funding for their school rebuilding programme 
Seven Stars is the second school in South Ribble, along with Tarleton Academy, to benefit from the funding and I'm really excited to see the transformations in our fantastic schools in the upcoming years as a result of this programme.
The School Rebuilding Programme - a scheme backed by £1 billion of government funding - is aiming to improve existing schools by rebuilding or refurbishing them. This level of investment in South Ribble is great news not only for the pupils and staff, but the local economy as a whole.
