I met with St Mary’s Catholic Primary School and representatives from Lancashire County Council today to try to find a solution to the ongoing issues outside the school.
It was clear to me after meeting with the school that the traffic and parking issues on Haig Avenue need some joined up thinking to find a way forward. I was more than happy to help by bringing together the school and Lancashire County Council to get some dialogue going and work towards fixing the problems.
It was a productive meeting and we really got to grips with the reality of the site. I'll be taking this forward to see what we can do to help this great school in Leyland.
