Last week I had the pleasure of walking along the banks of the River Ribble in the sunshine with the leaders of “Friends of Tram Bridge”. They’ve been working hard for years to find a way to reopen the Old Tram Bridge, and they’re hoping that Preston City Council’s forthcoming Levelling Up Fund bid will be the answer.
