Good news - Following meetings with the Secretary of State for Health & Social Care, I've received formal confirmation that Chorley A&E will re-open on the 2nd November.
This will be a phased re-opening with the Emergency Department initially opening from 8am-5pm for new patient arrivals.
This will then be extended to 12 hour, 8am - 8pm service.
