This week I got the chance to meet with the fabulous pupils at Cop Lane C.E. Primary School, who had loads of excellent, insightful questions on how we can make small daily changes to help protect our planet, how to be more energy efficient, and what our government are doing to help fight rising energy bills.
I got the chance to listen to them read their favourite books, and I got to hear some of the steps they are taking as a school to save energy and reduce carbon footprint, including being one of the first schools in the area to have air source heat pumps installed.
It was an absolute pleasure to be grilled by these lot, and it was fantastic to see young people so clued up and enthusiastic about our planet.
I can’t wait to come back and hear more of what they have to say.
