Today, along with other local MPs, Lancashire County Councillors, businesses and colleges, I met with Lord McLoughlin, who is Chairman of Transport for the North, for discussions on the Burscough Curves and Midge Hall Station.
As you know, I have been campaigning hard to get both reopened. I know the issues with local transport links, and I hear and understand this when out speaking to you all.
At the meeting, we had positive discussions on the following projects:
