Yesterday, I visited Lostock Hall Community Primary School to meet with the headteachers who have founded the Axia Learning Alliance. The trust has been set up by Lostock Hall Community Primary, Broad Oak Primary School, Pope Lane, Penwortham, New Longton All Saints' C of E Primary School, Tarleton Community Primary School, and St Aidan’s C of E.
It is great to see local schools working together to improve standards, support disadvantaged pupils and rocketboost the opportunities that are open for our young people.
It was a pleasure to meet and chat with pupils this morning. Lostock Hall’s student leaders set a shining example.
