It was fantastic to have Lee Warburton come past our office on his charity ride from Blackpool Tower to the Eiffel Tower!
Lee suffered a life-changing injury during a pre-deployment training exercise that has left him unable to use his right foot. After months of operations and procedures to attempt to save his foot, he is now waiting for an above knee amputation. He received fantastic support from Help For Heroes, and has embarked on this amazing adventure as a way of giving back to the charity that helped him so much. He’s also proving that no injury or mental health condition defines you, and that with the right support, anything is possible.
I had a great chat with Lee about the plan for his journey & the support that the government can offer to veterans around the country.
