Leyland has been making trucks since 1896, at the heart of the Leyland industrial community. Not only does the company have a rich heritage but it is forging ahead with new technologies, investing in making smaller electric trucks. As part of reconfiguring the factory they are taking on new apprentices, building the skills of the future in our community.
