A local consultant neurosurgeon who received an MBE from the King at Buckingham Palace has been given a surprise tour of Parliament.
Professor Nihal Gurusinghe is the clinical lead for neuro-vascular conditions at the Lancashire Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. He received his MBE in recognition of his contribution to charitable services in the New Year’s Honours List.
He has made a huge difference to our community through his work and his charitable work. it was a great pleasure to show him and Vicky around the Palace of Westminster and to get the chance to congratulate him on his well-deserved honour.
