The new Veteran ID Card, the reopening of Midge Hall Station, £2 billion for the new hospital in South Ribble, transport improvements and more were discussed at my Middleforth Q&A - Huge thanks to ROYAL British Legion Middleforth Club for hosting.
It was great to meet local residents and discuss the following topics:
The new Veteran Card was launched this week. If you have served in the UK’s Armed Forces you can now apply for an ID card: www.gov.uk/veteran-card
Improvements to transport, including my work to reopen Midge Hall Station and enable passengers to get on and off the train at the station.
The new hospital that will be replacing the Royal Preston Hospital in 2030. £2 billion will be invested in the biggest programme of hospital building in a generation. Whichever site is chosen will have good transport links and be purpose-built to meet the needs of patients.
