Some great questions were asked at my Eccleston Q&A.
It was great to meet the residents of Eccleston on Friday.
We talked about:
Transport including parking outside the primary schools, roads, bus and rail as well as my work to reopen Midge Hall Station and enable passengers to get on and off the train at the station.
The 8.3 billion budget nationally for pot holes.
Funding for new schools and school buildings of £175 million+.
The new hospital that will be replacing the Royal Preston Hospital in 2030. £2 billion will be invested in the biggest programme of hospital building in a generation. Whichever site is chosen will have good transport links and be purpose-built to meet the needs of patients.
Thank you to Eccleston Primary school for being fantastic hosts.
