Meeting South Ribble apprentices in Westminster for National Apprenticeship Week.
The UK are delivering a World-Class Apprenticeship system which can be a great alternative to university. Apprenticeships are not only for young people, they are also an option if you are considering a career change.
I enjoyed meeting apprentices in Parliament this week. I met apprentices from Leyland Trucks and engineering apprentices from Myerscough College. It was a pleasure to meet them and find out more about what itβs like to work as an apprentice and what great opportunities apprenticeships can lead to.
