Fantastic news for Leyland Leisure Centre
At last year’s Spring Budget we announced over £60 million of funding for public swimming pools.
I am very pleased to hear that Leyland Leisure Centre has been awarded £286,000 from the Government for pool covers and upgrades to their pool windows.
This is brilliant news. The maintenance of swimming pools really matters. Not only is swimming so important to wellbeing and helping people to stay fit and healthy, but children having access to swimming pools and learning to swim can save their lives.
