The NHS Constitution is up for review and itβs important that everyone in South Ribble gets the chance to share their thoughts.
Proposed changes include:
Rapid review of care for deteriorating conditions, inspired by Martha's Rule.
Using data to reduce disparities in access, experience and outcomes.
Strengthening patient responsibilities to cancel appointments they cannot attend and responsibilities of the NHS to communicate appointments clearly.
Patients being able to request intimate care by someone of the same biological sex.
Clear guidance on single-sex accommodation with consideration for transgender patients.
