Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board ICB) is leading the WorkWell pilot alongside local job centres and support services.
It's important that nobody gets written off for work without help. That's why it's great that the ICB is part of the £65 million initiative to mix health and work advice, helping people get back into work.
If you're out of work because of your health or a disability, you'll be referred to WorkWell. They’ll put together a personalised plan to help you get back to work, including physical and mental health services and employment support.
We all know work isn't just about money. It's about feeling good mentally and physically and having a purpose. Anything that helps people find and keep work when they're struggling is a win for everyone.
