This week I've taken the opportunity to meet with the Northern Powerhouse Minister Jake Berry MP in his Westminster office.
I was delighted to be able to raise the importance investing in the Green Lane Link road Tarleton and that the minister has taken it away for his team to review again.
We discussed the investment priorities for South Ribble and agreed to speak further, on improvements to infrastructure across the constituency. I emphasised the importance to our local economy of people being able to get to jobs without large traffic snarl ups and we discussed a number of measures that that would improve the current situation.
Early days but please do watch this space as I continue to make our case.
